Think big..!!!

One poor boy was looking at a rich man’s car.

Rich man took the boy for a ride..!!

BOY: Your car is great,isn’t it expensive?

MAN:Yes.my brother gifted it to me..!!

BOY: ohhh (thinking…)

MAN:What are you thinking? let me guess you also want to have such car..

BOY:No i want to become like your Brother…!!!!

Have you sharpened your Axe ?

Once upon a time, a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant and he got it. The pay was really good and so was the work condition. For those reasons, the woodcutter was determined to do his best.

His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he supposed to work.

The first day, the woodcutter brought 18 trees.

“Congratulations,” the boss said. “Go on that way!”

Very motivated by the boss words, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he could only bring 15 trees. The third day he tried even harder, but he could only bring 10 trees. Day after day he was bringing less and less trees.

“I must be losing my strength”, the woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on.

“When was the last time you sharpened your axe?” the boss asked.

“Sharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe. I have been very busy trying to cut trees…”

 

 

Moral -Don’t get so busy that you don’t take time to sharpen your axe.

We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow. If we don’t take the time to sharpen the “axe”, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness.

REBIRTH OF AN EAGLE

                                                          

The eagle has the longest life-span of its species

It can live up to 70 years , but to reach this age ,the eagle must make a hard decision . In its 40^th year , its long and flexible talons can no longer grab prey which serves as food ,its long and sharp beak becomes bent ,its old-aged and heavy wings ,due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly . Then ,the eagle is left with only two option-Die or go through a painful process of Change .the process requires that the eagle fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest .There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. Then the eagle will wait for a new beak to grow back and then it will pluck out its talons .When new talons grow back the eagle starts plucking its old-aged feathers and waits for the new features to grow and after some time….The eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for 30 more years

Why is change needed?

In order to survive and live..

We sometimes need to get rid of unpleasant old memories and let yourself fly high like an eagle
